Kaffir

This spooky little fruit bat is just as tart as you can imagine. He likes to hang around and can do that really well with his little clay feet. He can hang onto to a bunch of things up to about the size of a pencil in width, I like him on a rope or a string. His soft  lime tinted fur is accented by an iridescent fabric on his inner ears. Not too much trouble, he is mostly active at night. I don't see him much, but things are usually out of place and bite marks in the apples and bananas are always a good indicator he has been around. 

The wood he is hanging on in the photos is Not Included. 

Kaffir is just over 4" tall with his ears, with wings fully extended he is 5" wide. Kaffir's wings are wired for gentle posing. He is fully shaded with oil pastels. Clay feet give him the ability to hang for display, and a little clay nose make him adorable. Both his hands and feet are made with a semi translucent clay with iridescent flakes. He has Big glass eyes and is filled with polyfil and glass beads.

Please keep in mind you may see stitches or seems, as all of my bears and creatures are hand sewn, I do not use a machine, no matter the size.

All of my critters are made using small glass eyes, and are not meant to be given to children. They are firmly fixed, but that doesn't mean that they are immovable, they may fall off and are a choking hazard. I do not create toys that are meant to be roughhoused, they merely want to cuddle, and they are experts in their field. 

Each and every one comes with their own Certificate of Authenticity, and are One Of A Kind. I may use the same fabric or yarn, but they will always be unique in their own way, or have something that is undeniably unique to them. You will receive a signed COA with every creature you adopt.
